1) - I never put down Charlottetown. I'm from Charlottetown originally. About 5-7 years ago, there was nobody from Charlottetown posting in the forum and I singlehandedly kept the thread alive until
braymondg came along. I'm simply pointing out facts. Metropolitan Sydney (CBRM) is larger than metropolitan Charlottetown. It is a fact. For the record though, I think Charlottetown could support a second Wal-Mart, and Stratford could be a possible location. The kicker is whether or not the population on the south side of the Hillsborough River is large enough to form a base of support.
2) - I haven't said anything ill regarding Saint John in years. A long time ago, there were some people who posted on the Saint John thread who were very bitter about Moncton and perceived favouritism from the province, but they have moved on, and there is no longer any sparring going on at all. I wish Saint John well.
3) - I also don't have any ill will towards Halifax. I lived there for nine years. There was a time when there was an intense rivalry between Halifax and Moncton forumers over concerts and the CFL, but this too has passed. I will post on the Halifax threads, and occasionally my posts could be perceived as being negative, but I am familiar enough with the city to be able to comment both positively and negatively regarding developments in that city. Slavish boosterism is not helpful and occasionally failings and ill advised decisions have to be pointed out.
4) - And to that point, I am also not a slavish booster of Moncton either. I live here, and comment on all positive development news, but if there is a problem, I speak up about it. I don't know if you look at the Moncton threads at all, but, for example, I have made many comments regarding the booting issue in the Hub City...........
