Yeah, no custom upgrades here - everything was really too pricey - I asked for pot lights over the bulkheads along the patio door and in the 2 bedrooms and it was something outrageous like $250 per pot light. So, I just put those ideas to rest pretty fast.
I will put in my own upgrades after I'm moved in. But, in terms of just the basic items/choices - they're very nice already.
A few things I noticed that were different from CP1 to CP2 is that the kitchen cupboards don't go all the way to the top of the ceiling and the breakfast bar is not raised. I asked for them not to have the raised breakfast bar in my agreement anyways, as I think it really broke up the flow of the condo and divided the room up too much. Instead the breakfast bar is an extension of the counter top maybe 1 ft or so from the edge of the cabinet. So this is definitely an improvement over CP1. Also, the cupboards not going up to the top of the ceiling (maybe a 5" gap) to me also looks aesthetically better aswell - having the CP1 cupboards really kinda made them look to blocky and "heavy" (if anyone can relate to what I mean by heavy - kinda like a couch that sits low to the ground in small rooms it looks very "heavy"). So I guess you can store some extra plates and stuff up there or something, but I just like having that space anyways as it's more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
