"This term of council", because the block of urban councillors professed to be transit advocates before the last election, and in the wake of having in some cases to be a councillor when the mayor is from the "other" not-quite-official municipal "party", or at least faction.

But they have really not lived up to that.

I can think of a lot better uses for $25-million in transit-related spending then a couple hundred metres of BRT through a cornfield.
