It would be one thing if we were spending a lot of time and money on planning, designing, building, and operating these various suburban transit capital projects, and were also doing something of similar value and impact to improve urban transit in central, urban Ottawa.
But we aren't.
We are siphoning revenues out of central Ottawa to pay for all these suburban transit ideas. And we are also cancelling bus runs by the dozens, on the daily, to keep suburban "coverage" bus service running.
I once again find myself wondering where the pro-transit, progressive, urban block of councillors are hiding. This term of council has been a complete failure when it comes to transit that serves residents of the inner city.
