We are siphoning revenues out of central Ottawa to pay for all these suburban transit ideas. And we are also cancelling bus runs by the dozens, on the daily, to keep suburban "coverage" bus service running.
I once again find myself wondering where the pro-transit, progressive, urban block of councillors are hiding. This term of council has been a complete failure when it comes to transit that serves residents of the inner city.

This term of council? Politics in this city have been suburban-dominated since amalgamation. As if somehow all of the worsening traffic congestion can be solved by decentralized amenities, wider roads and higher speed limits. Apparently Ottawa planners know something no one else knows.
