I don't think they need to cross the LRT, could pass by the north.
For Connaught building, same traffic but less jam. Drop off east and west split the traffic. Would change sussex for a one way only.
Pretty sure 1 floor is enough high for a train station.
Upper floors could still be offices or other public use like a museum, stores, restaurants
Or even high end residences.
Obviously the building would need massive work.
Remember that the building is pretty much a copy paste of the nature museum for inside possibilities visualization
