Speaking of American Airlines, I would be really enthusiastic about that too, especially having a linkage to an airline alliance that isn't the Star Alliance. Star Alliance is definitely my favourite and preferred way to travel for many reasons (including but not limited to Air Canada's coverage in our own country), but being connected in some way to another major Alliance even if it is just code sharing and not as an actual member, would give us some kind of alternative if we need one (some people's personal or work situations may make a Porter/AA combination much better for frequent trips).
Ultimately a lot left to discover!
On the other post about a delay in certification, I really hope that this isn't held up for a reason like that or if it is, that the delay doesn't last very long and doesn't substantially impact Porter's planned roll out of new routes!
