Cross-post from the General Rumor thread. What a beauty. Such a simple thing can make a big difference. Didn't even know there was a competition.

Kind of wish we had gates at all entrances, but maybe with some uniqueness for each.

I like it, gives me big Central Park vibes. I had a look at the other contestants and this one was the clear winner, IMO. Hope the fundraising is successful and the final product turns out as good as the rendering.

New skate park under construction at Riverain Park. Insulation has been installed at base and filled/leveled with GA since photo was taken.

Actually really glad they are developing a lot of the beaches. They need more things there and actual central places that can service people who do end up going to the beaches. A bunch of development and things around a set number of beaches (would be nice if they figured out what we could do with the beaches during the winter) is exactly what we need.

Would be very cool, the proximity to the dams might be an issue (there are solutions but still a liability). A downtown beach would be super popular though!

Some swimming and diving structures would be amazing additions to the central river.
