A Grange/Kingsway stop may or may not be too close - walking distance is about 750-850m depending on the route and location of the Metrotown stop (assuming it's right under the current Metrotown station). General guidelines are to space stations about 1km apart so this could be done and it's denser than the Bond/Burke area with a more natural terrain for a station (not steep).
As for Canada Way vs Goard - the distance between the two is about 300m depending on where you put the station. You could easily have an exit at each end of the station (the station platform will likely be an 80m one). Put the station in the middle and it's a 100m walk either ways, no big deal.
I still have trouble imagining how Skytrain works between Grange and Moscrop considering the slope but as someone else mentioned they'll probably run it above ground further down the slope - maybe it goes underground right around Burke. If they're above ground in that area it's gonna be a messy process buying up some land b/c Willingdon isn't wide enough to support above ground skytrain.
