Who are you and what have you done with suburbia?

Still shaking my head at this one. It should be a lot bigger than that.

You’re going through that again after you’ve already been told about a thing called bylaw. Setbacks.

Everybody likes pics of snow. Got a problem with that?

Maybe he's complaining about the setbacks. Did that ever occur to you?

I’m with Northern. It should be much bigger, and we wouldn’t even have to worry about setbacks if we could get rid of crescent rolls and let the homeowners build right out to the edge of the hill.

Setbacks do not limit ability of homes to add third levels. This home is shorter than others in the area, including ones that already have a third level. Further, looking at this house, I'm certain it could have been deeper without meeting the max % land coverage rules also.

LOL!

A couple weeks ago I searched through Daemon's posts to find all of his photos of Concord Place over the last two months. There were over ten of them! I brought all of them together to point this out IE how silly it is to applaud posting of pictures of the exact same thing with no visible change. I put the photos behind a "spoiler" button as not to annoy everyone. You know what happened? A moderator removed my post within a few minutes of me making it. So the challenge is pervasive and through the ranks.

Some time ago I posted different photos of TELUS Sky construction, all high quality photos from a variety of credited sources on Flickr. Daemon fans jumped on me immediately and asked why I posted those when Daemon has it covered.

Anyway - that new Superstore building in East Village looks to be a monster. Wouldn't mind seeing where that is at. The angled columns are interesting. University District is moving along nicely and lots of see there. And of course there is the $1.3B cancer centre. Even the redevelopment of the Harvest Hills Golf Course is worthy of note, and not that long ago I mentioned the new transit barn for natural gas buses.

The road can still be there, but the yards out front can be shortened a bit in order to make the house large. The yards are kind of a waste anyhow.

The yards act like a barrier between the houses and the public.
