The colour scheme of the building (most notably the red and black seats) would work terribly with greenfoots branding, and you arent going to change the arena to all green seats. Maybe thats overthinking it but I suspect itd be more likely to go Scotiabank, Armour, Canada Life, Rogers etc. Or an Irving Company.
....or keeping with Moncton culture how about the Costco Centre ?
Does the city actually benefit from the money for naming rights or does it just go into ASMs pockets?
It'd be nice if some of that money could go into some minor upgrades to the facility. Not that theres much to be upgraded but I am just thinking more along the lines of sprucing up the concourse concession areas, adding LED lighting on the glass, improving concourse signage, adding a screen outside for upcoming events.
and to continue my stream of consciousness, I wonder how soon we will get some sort of tribute piece to Robert outside or inside the building. A statue might be too much but some sort of dedication near the oval or in the lobby area would make sense.
