This is what they posted:

Infinity Aerials Fantasy Rendering

I agree with you. I think Infinity Aerials is just having a little AI fun using one of their own drone shots as background. There is nothing new here. They did a great job on the rendering though,

Plus technically ICON has been preparing to begin construction for a long while. This is the caption:

"Moncton is growing faster than ever, but is the city ready for a 30-storey tower in the heart of downtown?

ICON Developments is preparing to begin construction on this impressive 340-foot skyscraper, a project that will redefine the city's skyline and become one of Moncton's most iconic buildings!".

Their previous post before that was another question like post, (containing another AI picture of a bridge added across the river), asking "Is it time for another bridge, connecting Dieppe and Riverview?".
Yeah.. it was pretty obvious it was AI. That is not up for debate, but Icon had posted a few months ago for people to watch out for their crane popping up again in the city. I’ve decided not to be a pessimist when it comes to projects in the city. It seems like it’s okay to come on here and comment about how everything is gonna be postponed and cancelled, but the moment someone shares a positive people are quick to say “nope, can’t be, not possible”.

Infinity Aerials has worked with Icon ans other developers in the city for a few years now. Yes it’s an AI photo, but they do one thing good, the get people talking and publicity for a project is great marketing. I can say in good authority that the wheels are moving, but as mentioned above, there are some delays waiting for permits.

Good to know!

I am also optimistic about the Infinity Tower (despite my grousing over delays). After the Gateway Towers, this is the project that I feel most confident about.

I am more pessimistic about St. Bernard Place and especially pessimistic about the Downing Street project.

St. Bernard Place may still happen, but they are still renting out the land for parking which is always a bad sign if one is expecting an imminent start to construction. The Downing Street project just has so many ducks to line up before construction can even start that I am truly fearful it will never happen. Provincial and federal funding in particular can be especially capricious. The current governments are not particularly forthcoming.

I wasn't trying to say it's not possible or anything. Just talking about Infinity Aerials post in general. The purpose for their post seemed to be more of them having fun with AI and promoting/bringing some hype to the upcoming project rather than alluding to having some insider knowledge of construction beginning soon or something. Pretty much like MonctonRad mentioned, nothing new here. But it was a good job with integrating the rendering into one of their drone shots. And given their previous post before the Infinity one, it to me just added more to the possibility of them just drumming up some discussions and having fun with some AI for visualization purposes.

I drove by the ICON site in Riverview tonight, and it looks like they're moving the crane. Hopefully they're not just moving it on site. It's hard to tell when driving by, but it looks like there's a lot more pieces as well.

They haven'y started site prep on Main Street yet. Don't get your hopes up to high just yet,

Regarding Infinity, I've taken an "I'll believe it when I see it" approach. I guess we'll know what their next plans are when something concrete happens.

A few weeks ago, I proposed to my travel buddy let's go try Classic Burgers, not thinking too much of it, then we saw their terrace. It was the perfect ending for the roadtrip. We had to come back the next day!

Anyway, I seemed to notice some random H beams piled into the ground on the Infinity site. I thought it was a bit peculiar, or was it there before?

Pretty sure those have been there since last year. That said I haven't driven around there in the last couple weeks to determine if they added beams.

I took a drive by the ICON Riverview site earlier. It looks like there are a lot more crane components on the ground now. Maybe the flat bed truck I saw yesterday was delivering, and not picking up crane parts.

It is certainly fun to speculate that ICON is storing pieces of the tower crane over in Riverview, but, I refuse to get overly excited until I see some digging going on at the Infinity site.

Some activity on site today. Three vehicles present, two of which were work trucks. It looked perhaps to be some surveying work

As far as I know, the crane parts that were dismantled in Riverview never left the site. Those were used to construct the 6 floor Pine Ridge buildings. Then there were additional crane parts delivered last week.

With what you saw on site today, the evidence seems to point to Infinity being their next project. And there's been no announcement about a reduction in height!

This all sounds pretty exciting and hopefully we will start to see something more happening by the fall.
