For non-Anglos, most Quebec media/news is provincial (what they would call, 'National'), with a tiny bit of Ottawa, Toronto, and Alberta thrown in.
Heck, I had barely heard of London, Ontario, before moving here (jk...of course I heard about it, but even outside of Quebec, London is a black hole of knowledge for most Canadians, except for those living in SW Ontario). There was a time when the Shriner's were threatening to move their renowned hospital from Montreal to London...London was in the news back then. And then for Eric Lindros (London-born/reared hockey star), when he refused to play for the Quebec Nordiques. These events evidently did not endear London to Quebeckers.
