Absolutely. The staff are irrate and angry about the NIMBYs. Some even suggest the city should devalue the properties adjacent to the lot lol. It is also a known fact some of them rent out their driveway to staff as parking.
That said, I do have reservations about putting commercial retail if a multilevel parking is actually greenlighted. Reason being, if this commercial retail is popular, then it will also just crowd the parking again unless there's like 2 basement levels and at least 3 levels above ground or similar. A pharmacy perhaps makes sense but it shouldn't be a sit-in restaurant nor a large grocery.
