Good to hear that the ridership is increasing.

Before shooting for New York, aim for Vancouver's 427 000 daily ridership on Skytrain.

Guessing you might already be matching Portland?

ST's statistic portal breaks that out, but only goes to February for some reason. That was before the Seattle connection.

It won't break out the Eastside anyway, since it interlines with the 1 Line from Downtown to Lynnwood.

There are obviously numerous cities between Seattle and NY.

Portland did 63,400 per day including light rail and streetcars. Great map but not great ridership.

The US is full of systems in that category. Denver did 72,000 with light rail and commuter rail. MSP did 34,900 with light rail plus a tiny commuter rail service that's going away. Dallas did 60,900 with light rail. Houston did 35,600 with light rail.

Since my comparisons are including other rail for those cities, I should point out that Seattle also does about 20,000 in rail per day outside of Link -- a little commuter rail, streetcars run by King County Metro, and the privately owned Seattle Center Monorail.

Also I misunderstood the reporting about ST's record days. Add this past Thursday to the list at 238,000 for Link (no game, but maybe people inbound for it?).

King County Metro buses also carried 300,561 on June 15 (first WC game), up from an average of 224,600. (No word from the other two counties in the metro area.)

I'm so old that I can remember when Portland's rail system boasted well over 100,000 trips on an average workday.

Hi everyone,
Here is my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/@RainCityInfrastructure
I'm planning to visit later this summer to fly my drone and film the construction progress of your amazing LRT project.
Could anyone suggest or share a map showing which sections are currently under construction? I'd like to plan my trip accordingly.
Thanks in advance!

Just some BRT (and BRT-lite) lines and an infill Link station at 130th N. The next major Link phases are a couple years from starting.

Oh I see. Thanks for letting me know. So what would be the most recent recreation that were completed? Kinda sad they don’t continue the momentum and continue to build more extensions. A lot of thing can happen in the next few years

The 2 Line completed in March, finally connecting to Seattle after initially opening as a separate line east of Lake Washington. The 1 Line's extension to Federal Way completed late last year IIRC.
