They did a video about the Broadway Subway expansion, so they should definitely know it exists!

DriveBC notes night work until the 27th, presumably for lifting those sections into place over Serpentine River.

They posted the Spring/Summer construction advisory as well

Quote:
Installation of large guideway beams will take place over the Serpentine River and near the South of Fraser Maintenance and Storage Facility. Overnight single-lane alternating traffic is in effect, and traffic control personnel may pause traffic for up to one hour through late September to safely complete this work.

Another one at Industrial Ave. installed last week:

The guideway at Langley City Centre Station is well underway! Here, the final 250 metres of guideway are built using precast concrete beams.
In May, the first precast concrete beam was installed on Industrial Avenue, just west of 203 Street.
Last week, additional precast beams were installed, including ones spanning 203 Street into the station!

New bus ride along guideway update.

A few more steel beams already installed near Highway 15.

Gantry crane is like three spans from the intersection near Green Timbers.

Assuming you mean Willowbrook, then yes, Willowbrook station will be adjacent to it's namesake (across the mall parking lot if I recall correctly).

For the Evergreen Extension it looks like it was cast in place on the steel box girders - see 50s mark here:

From Facebook when they raised the first segments.

Quote:
Hi Cam- Concrete slabs will be placed on top of the beams and concrete will be poured to complete the span. Once the launching gantry arrives in this area, it will walk over this section over Highway 15 using the existing structure as support, and continue building the guideway west towards Bakerview-166 Street Station.

Awesome, that mall is like a throwback to the way malls used to be here (at least the last time I visited there about a decade ago), feels like an old school Vancouver kind of vibe compared to the malls in the rest of the lower mainland now. I might actually make the long train ride out there once a year to check it out when the train is up and running.

A few metal guideway beams are up at the Serpentine River

Surrey Sprinter is just about to hit the intersection before Green Timbers.

Since my last update on June 28 it has advanced two additional spans. It is definitely slower than the rest of the gantries. It was also damaged before and out of service for some few months.
At the same time Surrey Sprinter advanced 3 spans since my las update from June 22.
