They’ve place temporary structural supports on those mystery slabs at 96 Ave.

Interesting just temporary pads for those supports. I'm assuming two longer pieces will be placed on each side of the intersection with supports. And then a smaller piece will get placed in the middle versus trying to do a super long piece to span the entire intersection.

Since the supports are already going up I guess we'll see something happen in maybe 2-3 weeks.

The temporary supports are for the gantry from what I understand. The gantry isnt able to reach all the way across the intersection so they have to use temporary supports for the gantry to get across the intersection. I read this on their Facebook in some comments a month ago. I can't find that comment now, and I may be mis-remembering, but that is what I think the temporary supports are for.

You're probably correct I forgot they said the steel beams will only be used at these remaining locations.

Oh wow, those long cantilevered tulip columns in Green Timbers are also super thick.
More like an oblong cross-section on the vertical part of the column and the cantilevered part looks quite wide.

Thanks! I had to fix the video (I had bunch of errors in subs), make another export in iMovie and another upload to YouTube. I have M2 Mac mini with 8 gigs of RAM and it takes 60 mins to make this video with iMovie. This one was a pain to make. It kept crushing because I was out of space on 256GB SSD…..

I just rewatched the last video, and give or take ±1, there are about 21 spans remaining for Surrey Sprinter to reach Green Timbers Station, and approximately 51 spans left for Fleetwood Flyer to reach 152 Street Station.
Based on this, I can see Surrey Sprinter reaching the station around August–September, and Fleetwood Flyer likely by October.

I wonder if they'll be using hollow steel box girders for the spare track (lighter weight)?
Is the width of that arm wider than the top of a tulip column?
It seems more like the tops of the columns where the steel box girders were installed.

Nice, on my drove video from May 17 those were already installed. Updates from the province are so delayed. Like how hard it is....
