The Musqueam still refer to themselves as the Musqueam Indian Band, but they also use the term First Nation. Presumably it's acceptable to use the word 'Indian' where a First Nation themselves use it, but not using 'First Nation' as a phrase 'because it's woke' seems to celebrate regression. And really, is that how the party want to define themselves?
Ironically (?) Kerry-Lynne Findlay has a long history with the Musqueam, having been a tenant when she bought a leashold property on Musqueam land in the 1990s, and was then one of the lawyers challenging the imposition of property tax (with, as she puts it, 'no representation'). She referred to her fight (which went all the way to the Supreme Court),
with what she called 'the Musqueam First Nation'.
