APM application to change the zoning for this property:

The Planning & Heritage Department encourages Planning Board to recommend to Council to approve the request to proceed to public consultation concerning proposed rezoning of unaddressed property identified as PID# 390534 with frontage on Towers Road from the Comprehensive Development Area (CDA) Zone to the Shopping Centre Commercial.

So this to make way for a 60,450sq ft. commercial development and for a "foodpad" drivethru development.

583 North River Rd - Habbi Apartment

I always thought an 8 storey would have been better here. We can build 6 storey hotels, but our apartments are four storey stubbies! We are allowed up to 8, and 10+ with approval. Here's the latest on this build. Personally, I thought the facade would be darker.

That looks to be an AI generated rendering

. The surrounding buildings look wrong (look at the Holman Grand) and so does the perspective. Furthermore, the road lanes don't line up and the license plates clearly aren't Canadian. We don't even use front plates on PEI! And the worst part? This "render" of Urban Residences doesn't even line up with the actual construction. If this is an official image they're trying to pass off as a render they should be ashamed.

Edit: I just checked and it's front and centre on the main website! Eugh..

I just came on to say that it is fenced in now. Also looks like Stratford tire is adding a new garage the foundation is in

I thought the same as you did! They put that right on front of the web page.The rendering is nothing the same as what we have so far. The corner glass facade facing the street is not in the present build and much more!

I was told last night that there is two 48 units going there. I also noticed the other day there is a hole being dug on Shepard dr. I noticed the land for sale a bit ago and it said for a 6 unit I think. Heading down to the big apt on the water in Stratford

Buildings L and K were supposed to be 51 units each. From the look of what they’re building, the shape of the buildings have changed.

One thing about APM is they'll start a different project, but not the ones that need people living in them. Apartments take forever!!
