Your first McJob is more than just about money. It gives a kid a sense of independence not having to rely on M & D in the first place. It's a place where they start to understand the workings and expectations of a day's work and teaches responsibility and interpersonal skills that they don't get with just hanging around their friends. These McJobs allows a kid to understand the world outside their academic and social bubble. It forces the kids to interact with kids of different socio-economic backgrounds which is essential for these rich kids in particular as many urban ones live in their wealthy neighbourhoods and go to school and socialize only with their wealthy friends.
A first job is a real social milestone for our young people and just giving them away to foreigners ala Trudeau, does them and society in general, a great disservice.

Plenty of jobs available in small towns across the country, why aren't young Canadians jumping at them.
