A casino no more
belongs at citifield than it does on Rikers Island. Are they likely to put one there? Big chance. But nothing about that parking lot says a casino
belongs there. Let's not get crazy. What
should have been put there was the soccer stadium, the one that's taking much needed land for affordable housing. But that's the city's misjudgment.
