princeton visit

i went to the 'ol ivy league princeton campus art museum on a tour the other day. cute classic college town and the art museum is well curated and has something of everyone major in the art world.

we did not spend a whole lot of time there, i need to go back for an overnight visit sometime.

you can easily visit via nj transit or amtrak trains to princeton junction, then there is a little train spur transfer known as 'the dinky' ride up to the bottom of campus.

enjoy!

bonus -- while stuck in traffic on the lincoln tunnel helix --

and that's all from a nice spring afternoon in nj on princeton campus --
i hope you enjoyed --

It's a nice town for sure. Did you ride the Dinky?

I am a philistine, I don't recognize any of those artworks, but very beautiful place. But what's up with that German looking building in the first pic? Is that new?

the first two pics are commercial buildings across from the campus on nassau street. i guess nassau street had a weird history of being ‘an invisible wall’ of only high end shopping for a long time before merchants finally cracked and decided to cater more to students starting in the 1990s.

The UK looks beautiful in the spring, that building covered in ivy must have thick walls to be holding up strong with that amount of old ivy on it. It’s cool. Great NYC shots too.
