Seeing the first couple of shots, I was like - damn, he had some gloomy weather.
But it seems it wasn't so bad after all. You know, like northern Europe, but even London can be merciful at times.
Ain't you in Barcelona right now?

Photography is a feeling.

Great stuff, lots of shadowy scenes tempered with some light filtering through. It seems quintessentially British, even Churchillian.

A tremendous compliment since there was so much left on the cutting room floor, thank you!

An honor to be a source of inspiration. Feel free to reach out with ideas (although muppet was truly the genius behind the trip, I never could've achieved half of this without his guidance and Tube knowledge).

Ah, I'm glad you caught my organization technique. Have to start with the traditional "dreary old London" before getting the taste of sunshine. Or to more aptly borrow from Pink Floyd, you can't have your pudding if you don't eat your meat! I did make it to Barcelona and I've yet to take a photo after injuring my leg and spending most of the last week stuck in the apartment. I'll just be that much more motivated in my shooting when I can walk again!

The hono(u)r was all mine! I certainly got the better end of the deal. Someday in the future, there will be more adventuring and pizza (not that Chicago style place, though).

Thank you. I still like to look back on the classic street photography threads Nineties Flava put together for inspiration. Of course, London is a whole other beast than the East Bay.

Much appreciated. If there's any other -ian adjective to throw out, I tried to get a few glimpses here and there of an Orwellian nature. Extra points to whoever finds the photo with the partly hidden but menacing CCTV camera.

As an extra bonus, here are two more fun, experimental works, compliments of the 3D camera I bought for work years ago. I hope I did London proud.

Dark, gloomy, and perfect. In my opinion, London is the world’s most liveable city.

Awesome. I love the 80s new wave to go along with the ride. I’ll be there in 2 weeks, I’m so excited, although only for 2 days before and after a UK cruise. I haven’t been in 32 years and I remember wanting to spend much more time in this amazing city. Thanks for the wonderful tour!

Don't thank me - the man is a legend. I think he broke 10 miles a day exploring, he's still at it out there in Europe.

DS - may the force be with you!

It certainly left a big impression! I mean, to say nothing of the fact it was my introduction to Europe, talk about a strong first step.

London Calling would've been a bit too on the nose, right? Besides, New Order's rhythm felt better for my time. If it means anything, everything you saw here was 72 hours. Of course, I had an incredible guide shuffling me around on the Tube! Enjoy your stay, I hope it's just as incredible as mine was.

I might be paying the price for that walking in Spain, but that adventure was worth every single step. Anyone on SSP going to London should absolutely hit muppet up. I thought I had a good itinerary for a short time, but he expertly shepherded me all over the city, added in so many things I never would've found on my own, and threw in some damn good food to boot.

Cheers, all!
