Ibm/one atlantic center

What in the world has happened to the lighting on this gorgeous building? Are they redoing it? I looks awful without the lighting at night. Does anyone have a clue?

I assume they're either in the process of replacing or trying to save money on electric bill.

I was wondering about this last week as well. I was thinking to myself, when are they going to replace the lighting. Then I seen a recent video with the top lit up. So maybe they are just conserving energy.

Saying they are conserving energy is BS.

Why ask a question and then when someone answers call their answer bs?

I'm still out of town and haven't seen it yet. What does the lighting look like?

There is 0 lighting at the top, which looks dead.

She's in mourning now that she has a height rival down the street, 1072 West Peachtree, stealing her shine.

i think there was an issue with a section of it - corner was flashing for awhile. they are probably going to need to repair more of it so they've just got it turned off for now.

reminds me of the post 2008 crash days though, when it seemed like a lot of office buildings weren't bothering with night illumination (or for very long after sunset)

i've been on this forum for more than half my freaking life, lol. two boom cycles, and probably two bust now.
