To be honest, the Beltline needs light rail. Without a light rail system, the entire Beltline lacks effective transportation, making it impossible to eliminate inequalities between areas, and hindering the overall connectivity of the Beltline. This imbalance in the popularity of different Beltline areas cannot be resolved. In the new century, we shouldn't have such a state of regional isolation. We need to link the entire Beltline's transportation network, integrating it with the subway to create a radial, comprehensive transportation grid. This way, we won't need to drive to get to many places. The Beltline is different from the HighLine. it’s not just a park for exercise—it’s a transportation route with the attributes of an exercise park.
