Which of these 3 hotels will welcome guest FIFA 2026?

I have no doubt the latest hotel proposed at Centennial Yards will get built in time to welcome FIFA World Cup guests.
But I'm less sure about 3 other hotels that have been on the planning boards for some time.

So, let's vote.

You can VOTE for more than 1 CHOICE!

Will Moxy be finished by then? If so, that one and probably the new one in CY.

I really hope Atlantic Station can fill the last two remaining holes on 17th Street within the next two years.
The vibe in the district has greatly improved with the construction of the apartment building near the Connector.
And even though the Bishop street apartment building is not a part of Atlantic Station, it sorta serves as a "bookend" to the the district.

I hope the Forge gets started soon, too.

The Forge looks so good, but i think its dependent on them signing a major tenant similar to MSFT for phase I. Maybe we'll get lucky and msft will want to expand their Atlanta operation.

It looks like all 3 hotels will be under construction or ready for the FIFA World Cup.

World Cup games in Atlanta begin in June 2026. Can they really get these hotels built and ready for occupancy in 18 months? Seems like it would be a pretty quick turnaround.

Moxy Centennial Olympic Park has scheduled completion March 2026. The re-design lost the parking podium and it will be 10 stories with no on-site parking. I've been retained to do the pay application reviews.

No podium? That is a nice turn of events. Where will the derive their parking from?

Per the revised SAP-22-015, the SPI-1 zoning has no minimum parking requirement. The Owner will be working with Owners of the adjacent parking decks in the area to provide parking for guests via their valet service. The podium parking was removed for project cost considerations.

Probably the same ones that host the team for the National College Championships. The Hyatt Downtown is one of them.

Don't count on the Forge happening with the current LOI developer; it's a penny stock company with a history of fraud. All signs point to pump and dump.

Different Forge. "The Forge" we were referencing was the speculative second phase to MSFT Atlantic Station digs, not the Downtown Atlanta Forge site.
