Canadian North Airlines is proposing to construct a new two-storey industrial warehouse facility with a building area of 4,063m2 at 145 Thad Johnson Private.
The second level office space is proposed to be 1,186m2, and will serve as the new headquarters for Canadian North. The facility will function as Canadian North's new customer facing warehouse for cargo operations and house the majority of their office and air operations functions in Ottawa. The building will have direct access via the North side of the building to air-side taxiways for cargo loading operations. Customer facing pick-up and drop-off of cargo and customer service related functions will be mostly moved from Canadian North's facility at 100 Thad Johnson Private.

Building their facility here is a great choice since they will have direct access via the north side of the building to air-side taxiways for cargo loading operations (as they put it).
It had been a long time since I went down Thad Johnson but I did the other day and noticed the new Canadian North cargo facility is under construction and well developed. It seems this is flying under the radar. Anyone know of it’ll have a ramp/airside access to Golf from here? Or will they truck stuff over to the existing hangar?
