This hole in the ground was being been excavated since July 2019. They finally put a sign up on what is coming, is it is a new building which will bring new jobs and people to downtown Hull.

Happy to see this going up, I got to work on downtown Hull this spring, it is a great place to work.

I found this document online which has specs on the project. Hardly inspiring, but I suppose anything is better than the current parking lot

Is there a zoning reason they're limiting this to 3 stories?

Even if they want to maintain the street character, the site seems big enough for a set back tower b/w 6-10 stories.

I believe 3 of the 6 "storeys" are underground - as in a parking garage.

Phase 1 has 3 storeys (above ground). Then Phase 2 will add three additional floors on top of that. Not sure why it's done in two phases.

I beleiev 3 stories is probably the underground parking and the 6 stories are the actual building
