The proposed development will form part of the existing Bel-Air Toyota and Bel-Air Lexus businesses along the four corners of McArthur Avenue and May Street.

The proposed development will consist of a demolition of the existing building on 447 McArthur Avenue and the construction of an automobile service building on three parcels, 443-447 McArthur Avenue, as per the site plan. A noise barrier will also be erected at the rear of the property to buffer the use from the adjacent residential uses. All service work will take place at the 12 service bays inside the building, all of which are not visible from the public realm (6 on the first floor and 6 in the basement).

That floor plan is confusing as hell. Is that one giant indoor downward ramp that takes up half the sales floor? And are there really only two sales desks and a sales managers office?

This is just the auto service part of the dealership and not the sales floor. What you see are service desks and the service manager's office. Indeed it is a ramp going to the basement level where there will be 6 additional bays to service the vehicles. 6 bays on ground level and 6 in the basement.

It's a drive-in service reception. You pull in to that area, park and talk to the office. They take your car from there.
