Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Turmbahn am Toelleturm was an observation tower on
which an electrically driven elevator spiralized up. The tower was bought by Alfred Vorwerk, a
company owner, in the 1890ies from the Berlin Trade Fair and rebuilt in on 1897 near the air
spa house.
In 1908 the tower was demolished. Today there are playing fields for tennis.
