Would have preferred the lighter toned glass in the renderings, but it's still quite decent.

At least some of these newer buildings going up in that area are providing variances to shape, colour, finish, and even height. Breaks up the lot line to lot line boxes that have dominated the area for so long.

According to this report, those are copper accents, not wood accents.

Makes more sense. Wood accents would be a maintenance nightmare. Hope we get the copper (like, real copper, not fake) accents.

I like this budling on it's own, but I wish they would have set-it back from the Cathedral above the podium level.

How so? Claridge (usually) builds low/mid-end apartments and condos while this new retirement residence is aimed at well-heeled seniors. They are building for their target clientele.
