Assuming these models are to scale, they demonstrate how gigantic 270 Park is. It’s gorgeous too.

They aren’t 100% exact replicas. For example, that would be the 1,500 ft version of Vanderbilt. 270 Park also tapers a bit on the north and south sides, which isn’t shown here.

When does 350 get its own thread? At 1500 feet that one will be epic.

Is it under construction yet to get its own thread? I don't think so.

Here’s that group again, represented in model form…

It's great to see model photos showing the future context of these developments. Just wanted to repost an earlier rendering that shows those proposals from approximately the same angle as above, to give an idea of each one's overall look:

175 Park is happening. 350 Park will follow, but it hasn’t started approvals yet, so don’t look for anything soon.

Nice add-ons indeed…but I’m still worried about those kitty-corner cantilevers on Tower Fifth.

On point, I really like how 270P has that streamlined Hancock Tower sans “antlertennas” happening.

BTW, Does 520 5th have that slenderness factor from the North/South vantage point, too?

No. It tapers, but it’s similar to 220 CPS in regards to profile.

His reign most likely will be quite short if everything proceeds as wonted.

This tower is going to be magnificent and what it will add to the Madison Ave streetscape will be extraordinary.

I really hope that 175 Park rises on time and is not delayed due to economic uncertainty. 175 and 270 Park will be utterly iconic additions to the skyline.
