Ha, after my complaining the very next day there's a pic of the first piece of facade installation lol.

How are these attached? Like what's the dark gray stuff it's being attached too? Sorta looks like a cement/plaster. It's darker than the lighter formed concrete.

The dark gray is still concrete, but it looks like they've sealed the slab edges and columns with a Modac paint coating. This should prevent water from getting into the concrete and causing spalling/rusting, at least for a few decades.

The facade panels at the corner (made of aluminum probably) look like they are installed on clip angles over a mineral wool insulation.

The glazing looks like it will just be a basic storefront glass, the whole facade is just a basic black storefront (or maybe a custom dark gray color) and then there are elaborate clip-on pieces for the columns and slab edges.

Anyone know what's happening on the east side of the podium? I quite can't make it out from the photo's. Looks like brick maybe which would make sense because there will never be anything good to look at from that vantage point, but doesn't seem like a standard brick install.

Is it normal to paint the underside of the floor slabs like that? Is that a sealant too, perhaps?

Either supply chain or, if you look at the mockup of the curtainwall, it looks pretty complex. Probably took longer to coordinate than anticipated.

Reminds me of when 300 N Green's elevator shaft was far ahead of the floor plates. I kind of like it like this. It will always be covered in glass once its up. This is a fun view for the time being.

It was totally supply chain. Shipping from China was fine, it was the west coast ports and then the rail yards where containers got delayed. The containers that were getting through were totally out of sequence. The 10th floor ended up being the first complete floor to get to Chicago so we started there.

Counting from one of the pictures from above I'm estimating top of core is around 39/43.
