I'm somewhere between Frank Oz and Jim Henson, and all the goofiness that implies.

IMO all posts by conservatives should be read to sound like Ben Shapiro, over-explanatory posts should sound like like Mark Zuckerberg. However, you may read my posts to sound like Lex Fridman. I imagine Lio45 sounds like Seth Rogan.

I don't post much here, but online I tend to have a more boring, matter of fact tone.
I see a lot of personality in SHH, Molson, Acajack and Whippersnapper however.

Architype, I don't have a voice for you. I do however envision a very conservative middle aged waspy Ontario dude who smokes a pipe. It's definitely your forum name giving me this false impression. Lio 45 is a young long sleeve printed tee shirt wearing hipster dude who wears skinny jeans and is always on the go and on his phone. You and Signalhillhunter can almost hang. Martin Montreal is a quiet, semi serious, small, yet stocky black haired Francophone with an unimposing yet normal length mustache. You could pass as being Portugese or even Italian. A drastic exaggeration would be Nintendo Mario..Aaand I think the culprit is envisioning Martin Lapointe in my mind..

You probably sound like a younger Ron MacLean.

Lio's written English is excellent.

I admit to having no idea what his spoken English is like, but given what I know of his personal background, I think he might sound like this guy en anglais:

Before I met you, I expected to meet a Peter Ustinov type character.

That must have been 200...4? 5? We've been kicking around here for a while! Funny to think that at that time, there was nobody in the world who had been on an internet forum for 18 years. We are the first bunch of people to do this...

I remember a fairly large forum meet in Toronto with lots of visiting Americans in I think 2006. Also went to a few in Ottawa around that time. It was a pretty novel thing.

Can safely say harls does not look/act like House, though it's been long enough the avatar has taken over my conception of him.

I've been to forumer meet ups in Montreal (way back in the day, there was a regular get-together called "Smoked Meets" and it consisted of what was then a large and vibrant SSP Montreal contingent*...I recall meeting Harls at one of them), and London (Ontario).

*e.g., Serge, Habsfan, Bilo, Patrickscantland, Elsonic....

Fun topic. I always read in my voice but it kinda makes since to have another voice for each poster.

There should be some sort of tech that allows you to assign a voice to forumers, and , whenever you open their posts that voice comes out through your speakers narrating what they said, and with the proper emotions at that given time..e.g a heated debate..haha! Multi quoted posts would get interesting.

For some reason you sound like a parrain saying that.
