Our Lady of Sorrows RC church Bloor Street West of Royal York Road -- redevelopment of the western part of the property including the parking lot/Running Room building into a retirement residence. I hope the church isn't redeveloped--adds character to the strip.

A nice but boring and played out building has been proposed at on Maitland just east of Yonge. It will see the demo of one historical home and one ugly Catholic Children's Aid Society building.

Northam Realty wants to build a 60 storey residential tower on top of 483 Bay Street (Bell Trinity Square) -- another dull IBI Group effort.

DREAM Office REIT is now following Northam's lead: they want to add residential towers on top of all their older office blocks.

Remember when realtors said we were running out of land?

Jasper House had a much nicer podium and anyways, it was by aA not Quadrangle.

If you've got seriously bad taste and want to drop $2-6 million on a G+C condo, check out Forest Hill Private Residences: http://foresthillresidences.com/img/bg_home.png

Or if you're not as well off but still have bad taste, 1440 Lawrence Avenue West by G+C and Barney River Investments might suit you better:

Thats funny I was going to say the podium of the Toronto proposal was better. Im not a fan of single story podiums.

Yes I prefer more multi-level podiums as well. The Toronto proposal certainly isn't novel but a decent looking building.

I never reference height of anything but rather design quality/detailing. Jasper House is more sophisticated.
