I'd imagine that would skyrocket costs. Would also complicate the engineering due to soil composition/characteristics relative to the surroundings.

But its interesting that the locals want more affordable housing, but some complain about 20-30+ floor towers. Can't win! Ya want more housing, but than when the towers are large enough to make a profit, while providing enough units (market/affordable), they complain.
