It's not anything you're doing, I get the same messages. I googled it a while back, and it means the site isn't using a secure link like Https

Without HTTPS, your website is not strong enough to protect the communication and privacy between the website and the user’s browser.

Any information (such as credit card information, email, etc.) used on an HTTP connection is displayed in “plain text,” which could be accessed by any hacker who’s able to break into the connection between your browser and the website.

And for Google, this is a huge problem.

As the most popular search engine worldwide, Google cares about providing a secure, optimized experience for its users.

Think about your own experience on Google. If you clicked on a link and got an error message – would you trust the website?
It seems like if you're not using a credit card or doing transactions that needs to be secure you should be okay.

It's not good, but it's not the end of the world. Just know that when you log in your password isn't encrypted and can be picked off quite easily actually, so make sure you don't use the same password for this site as you would for your banking, email, etc..

It's not good though. From what I've read up on it, most of the sites that are using this old forum software have been hacked, and often the owners don't realize it. The hackers can get account info like e-mail addresses etc.. I used my e-mail account that I put out there when I think I might get spammed, so I'm not too worried. Hopefully people haven't used their work e-mail or an e-mail with their name in it.

I can’t even remember the e-mail address I used to register this site, but it might have been my work address, which would suck. How long has this issue been going on for? I only noticed the messages in the last couple of weeks I think.

No definitely not good. If the site gets compromised the hacker can get hold of your personal details. If you gave your name and birth date and your main e-mail address it's not good. Technically they could get your IP address, which could also give away where you work or live, though I doubt a hacker would bother with that. I made sure not to give personal details and my main e-mail. I also made sure my password wasn't something I use at other sites.

The issue has been around for a while. Google only decided to start giving the warning message out the message recently. Worst case scenario is that someone can get your password as logging in is in clear text and not secure. You'll know if suddenly you see posts under your name and you didn't post them. Technically hackers could get administrative control of the site, which would give them access to your e-mail, etc.. It's not likely they would do anything with it. Many of the sites using this software have been hacked already, and this site probably has too. To be honest, anyone who may have hacked this site wouldn't have bothered to do anything. It's not on anyone's radar.

Thank you. I’m not very technical and appreciate the explanation

Who knew bus stops could be so interesting, but I'm anxious to see this BRT up and running.

There was discussion on this at SRC a while back. One poster seemed to think that SSP would be closing down sometime soon. I don’t know there’s anything to that or not, I’m not a techie person.

Nobody cares about the bus shelter pics, but the mansion pics are great. The only thing I have to complain about his at the mansion is triple the size.

The bus shelter pics seem pretty well received. But maybe it’s just many users first day out of prison and anything on the internet is glorious.

I like the both. Not as keen on the SFH pics, except for the mansion. The mansion's the most interesting thing on this thread.

I like the mansion pics. There must be a few more under construction in that area that Daemon can get updates on?
