Actually they just removed the green roof on the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King near the highway in hamilton and replaced it.

They are not SUPPOSED to turn green, they just DO turn green.. and that oxidation drips off when it rains and stains everything under it. It's corrosion and eventually compromises the copper itself.
