Stop using Google Maps as your guide to SLC. This whole thing seems to stem from Google Maps. They label every street in the metro area like this. It drives me nuts. They have no way to contact them, which is super irritating. "S 1300 East" "W North Temple" etc.
In South Jordan, 10600 S turns into South Jordan Parkway on the west side of I-15, but Google labels it like the other streets. They think the street is named Jordan Parkway, but they put an S in front of it. When "South" is part of the proper name, you don't abbreviate it. It's literally nuts.
And Google, for some reason, has started dropping the first cardinal direction on addresses. So 846 E 900 South becomes 846 900 South. There could be an 846 W 900 S, so we do need all of the cardinal directions in Salt Lake.
Anyone know anyone at Google that we can explain this to?
