I came by some of the developments in Richmond yesterday, Dec. 22.
And this time I used imgur. Thank you for the advice!
River green 2, the 2nd phase of river green, which is the development just west of the oval.
Note the spandrel at the top of the buildings.
Is it normal to have cranes in such a precarious location?
Looking south from the dyke
Future phase? Btw, that forest at the left of the photo is apparently the site of Mr. Brighouse's home (the Brighouse that many places in the city centre are named after)
I don't know who this is, but I'm pretty sure that it's a future phase of river green as well. (perhaps phase 4, as phase 3 is between the oval and phase 1)

This is the "riva" development, located at Alderbridge Rd. and Cedarbridge Rd.
Future 4-lane road that will connect Gilbert Rd. to Cambie Rd, this is the first part of it.

River park place phase 1, on the corner of Gilbert and the new River Rd
I remember the City of Richmond councillers voting against this proposed art of Ginseng... but it has been built anyways!

New Lane behind Rpp1
River park place 2 has begun construction in some form

"Tempo", sandwiched by Alderbridge, Cedarbridge, and Lansdowne.

------------------------------
Now moving to Capstan Rd, the recently announced "Viewstar" development by Yuanheng

I love this - "Council-approved"
Finally, the "capstan", the development built on that orphan block in the middle of Viewstar. It's being built by GBL architects.

The sand is busy compacting.
I know that this was a very long post, but I think that with all of these developments going on (plus many others, such as the Alexandra Rd. community), Richmond should get its own updates thread.
