There's an opportunity for Burnaby to reserve a right of way for bus lanes or rail transit along Willingdon. If you're going to build dense neighbourhoods, the Willingdon corridor is the place to do it. IMO, a Norquay Village type plan should be implimented along Willingdon, stretching from Hastings on up to Metrotown.

The Willingdon lands will be redeveloped. At 16 hectares, they would provide a strong customer base for advanced transit along Willingdon, to go along with other redevelopment.
