The glass wall will have a nice reflection of lights at night once it's completed.

It looks like the Construction Cam is down. Is it that way for everyone else?

Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time? That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains.-Hermann Hesse

So is this truly going to be the new tallest (not including the spire)? I ask because what I saw from the angle of Americana and Emerald streets, it looks like it won't be as tall as the US Bank tower.

I wondered this as well. I hate to come across pessimistic, as I love the project, but it just doesn't seem very tall.

Together the 17th and 18th floors will add about 45-50 more feet. The top of the parapet is 267'-0". The finish floor at 17 is 216'-4". This information is from the latest set of contract plans, which were just released in January.

The US Bank Tower is 267' so both towers will be equal with the spire adding to the final height at 315'?

LOL Architecuture Buff, it looks like you went to the same spot Sawtooth was when he shot his photos ...the photos showing the new glass on the 8th Street side.

Just double checked the elevations. There are actually two parapets. The lower one is at 265'-0" while the higher one at the South corner of the roof (8th and main) is at 270'-0". The top of the spire is indeed 315'-0"

Us bank

All US Bank needs to do is redesign their Christmas Tree as a permanent spire for year around lighting use, and it would make them 352 feet! They could do like the Empire State building and use different colors for a certain holiday.
The 8th&Main Tower will have lights all the way up their building on the glass corner. That will look so great from all over the city.

Or instead of a Christmas tree, put a Huge 55 foot Potato that rotates and has the year around lighting use that you mentioned.

I have to say, what's going on with the materials at the base of the building? When you look at the latest renderings I was under the impression there was going to be a whole lot of granite which I think would've been stunning. Walking by the building and looking at the photos it looks like all the materials are something resembling synthetic stucco. But maybe it's just not finished yet? I've been going through the Design Review Committee documents and minutes to try and figure out what's going on and haven't really seen any clear answers.

And then you have those panels on the south face which are very visibly mismatched with the surrounding materials. I'm just really hope what we're seeing in the base will get cleaned up or polished or something, as it in its current state just seems to lack the texture and definition that the latest renderings showed.
