It should be a good representation...every photo (except the first one) was taken over the course of about 3 hours on Thursday and Friday last week.

WOW! Great photos!

Hamilton looks very busy and diverse. Reminds me of Center City Philadelphia on an average work day. Downtown Hamilton is as busy as any downtown in North America! Doesn't look like a "broken down old city" to me.

I guess we've found where hell is

Last time I was in Hamilton, I remember waiting to turn right onto King St West at that same intersection in the photo, by CIBC. The no right turn on red rule really backed things up.

You're gettin' pretty darn good with that picture takin' machine.

Great tour, and I love the people shots. Coffee guy makes me feel better about my eye bags (hey they ain't as nasty as his). And he is not the guy I want to be standing behind at the coffee shop.

Hamilton has just the right amount od grit. And there seems to be as many happy folks as unhappy in the pics.

I wondered what happened to Phil Spector:

Great thread flar, thanks.

Just look at some of Hamilton's neighbours in the US Rust Belt and don't get too down on your city. Two words spring to mind here: Authentic, Diverse.

Do people ever ask you why you're taking a pic of them, and if so what do you say

Sometimes people don't even know they're being photographed, other times they do and generally don't seem to mind. People often think I'm with a newspaper or something.
