Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Observation tower on 517m above sea level, Melibokus mountain, which is
from a similiar shape as many TV towers (but much smaller). The tower contains an inn in its basement.
On its roof there are some transmission antennas for mobile radio services. The tower is a popular target for short Sunday trips as it offers a good view over the area between Manheim
and Darmstadt. Nearby the tower, has a Communication Relay Site tower of about 50m, called Sendeturm Melibokus of 5 Floors, once from US troops.
