broadcasting the program of "Chaîne 1" with 600 kW on 531 kHz. Transmitter can be also received at
night-time in central Europe, especially when Beromünster transmitter working on the same frequency
is switched off. Mast belongs to the tallest man-made structures of Algeria

Station is better known as "Ain Beida transmitter"

A further radio station in Algeria with very tall masts ( presumeably > 300 metres) is situated at Berkaoui near Ouargla ( http://www.elahcene.co.uk/algeria/berkaoui.htm ).
However I cannot post it until I do not know their exact height.
