One thing we know is that Extell doesn’t shy away from height. The redesign of this building happened after Extell had already signed a major tenant to most of the space. And being on hand, I’m sure they had a say in the redesign, which allowed them to up their lease committment to about 1 msf. The remaining space Extell will have to offer will be premium office space that will rank up there with the best of what’s coming to the market.
The closest we’ve come to any information about the changes comes from these articles posted earlier. I suspect it will probably be at least a 900 footer.

One Vanderbilt, Central Park Tower, JPMorgan New HQ. Another record will be engraved on Manhattan's (skyline)…… The 570 building, which will be built on Avenue 5, is currently under construction on the site, and the project cost alone is worth a whopping $4 billion (about 6 trillion won). It is a project to develop an entire block of 46th to 47th streets in Manhattan into an office and retail building with more than 90 floors.
In particular, Korean-American co-CEO Andrew Chung of Extel is leading the bid to attract additional investment and complete it in 2030. In a recent Maeil Business interview, CEO Chung said, "We will establish ourselves as a top-notch commercial building representing Manhattan."
More than half of the 90-story building's office space has already been pre-sold by Simpson Thatcher and Bartlett, a large global law firm. CEO Chung said, "Simpson Thatcher leased 60% of the total office for 27 years,"

-How large is the project?
"The total project cost is $4 billion, about 6 trillion won. Of that, $2.8 billion will be raised through a construction loan, a method similar to Korea's project financing (PF). The remaining $1.2 billion is equity investment. Extell itself will invest $600 million, and we are recruiting investors for the remaining $600 million."
-Are you also discussing this with Korean investors?
"We plan to discuss it with major institutional investors in Korea."
-Have you signed any lease agreements?
"We have secured Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, a global law firm, and Ikea as anchor tenants. We signed a 27-year long-term lease with Simpson Thacher. The total leasable office area is about 1.5 million ft², of which Simpson Thacher is expected to occupy about 916,000 ft². Ikea plans to use about 95,000 ft² on the basement and second floors out of about 115,000 ft² of total leasable retail space."
