Agreed, you need assembly space towards the SkyTrain station, even if the street is closed to traffic.

Saw a notice the other day that the RBC on King George and 102 Ave is closing in November and moving to 104 and Whalley Blvd (presumably in the former Prospera CU building). Wonder if we'll see demolition of their old location and surrounding strip mall a la the Scotiabank beside it? With White Spot across 102 Ave now closed, that corner could have some major changes on the horizon.

In other developments, a new sit-down restaurant is being developed on the main floor of the WestStone Centre on Central Ave (between Evolve and One Central towers). With the One Central CRUs finally claimed or fully occupied, it's good to finally see some services anchored in the West Village area.

Has a ways to go. If you look at Metrotown and add completed and under construction, it is around 100 towers total give or take a few.

For Surrey Central it is 65 or so. So till 35ish behind. If many of the upcoming projects actually get built it will catch up eventually, but there's definitely ground to make up and Metrotown isn't stopping to build towers.

Definitely the skyline is looking better though.
