For what it's worth, the monthly population estimate (aged 15+) from the
Labour Force Characteristics data show Winnipeg rising from 799,800 in July 2025 to 810,200 in June 2026, going up slightly every month. Québec City has barely changed from 754,600 to 754,900 (falling every month since December 2025, when it reached 757,000).
