So far so good. Glass looks nice. Having the balconies inset adds some nice articulation to the façade.

Yeah I was going to say. That really improves the look on the Elgin st facade. Not sure how I feel about that AC Marriot teal spandrel and glass though.

Nonetheless those full height columns are pretty catchy. Lets see what they clad it with.

Unlike the AC Marriott though, it doesn't have a random pattern of spandrel. It's clean enough that the spandrels don't bother me.

I was in Ottawa this weekend (I live in Toronto now) so I checked out as many buildings as possible. This has to be the best office conversion I've seen so far. Quite a few of the units are occupied. A lot of the balconies had stuff on them.

This turned out really well. Wonder if the timing is off just as the rental market is over-saturated and there is renewed talk of a need for federal office space.

They are certainly agressive with their starting rent ask. It's not 2023. Though the location will be ideal for many.

Incredible location, one of the best in the city. Just off the busy part of Elgin, next to Farmboy, near the NAC, steps to work if you are working downtown. Not sure what the market is right now, but if any building should command a premium, it's this one.

This was probably Class C office space, so not too desirable anyway. Pretty confident they'll be able to fill it up or close to it within a year.
