I would imagine the crane and skip are coming down any day now?

This is a great-looking tower. I think the design will age very well, especially if its sister is built. The facade is a little more glassy than the renders suggested. I also think this would have benefited from an extra 100-200 feet to stretch out the setbacks. These are minor criticisms and mostly have to do with the Alderman capitulating to the local residents. Overall, the massing, materials, and location in the skyline are great. Hopefully, this fills up real fast so they can move on with the next phase.

I can see in the distance the tower from my place and I can confirm it is coming down as of this evening

Great pics BVictor1! The view of this tower from the river is cool, it looks ultra modern rising behind the Sheraton. Sorta mirrors how Wolf Point + Merch Mart look on the other end of the main branch-- v cosmopolitan aesthetic contrast.

I will always complain that this site isn't hosting something taller, but it does look great from East/West perspective, no doubt about it.

I went down to check out 400 Lake Shore early Saturday afternoon. The cloud were perfect and the lowest levels of fog we just barely scraping the crown of the tower.

P.S. I removed the crane in many of these shots because it's already on the way down, and I was getting impatient to see what this building will look like without it.

Nick, the building looks much nicer in your photos than in real life!
